Combine a wonderful morning tour around the town centre and at the craft shop watching how the beautiful hand-made Deruta Ceramics are created - from clay to kiln. After a delicious typical lunch of the area you can then enjoy a cycling afternoon along the River Tiber taking in the beautiful views and stunning scenery of the natural parks.

 

In the morning we will visit the small craft workshop of Deruta which produces the world famous beautiful ceramics. We will take a walk in the centre of the lovely small town of Deruta and have lunch in a small restaurant with local traditional products.

In the afternoon we will ride bicycles from the Tiber Valley in Perugia pedalling along the dirt tracks along the river. It offers some beautiful views of the River Tiber and the natural parks. Along the way we will have a break stop where we will enjoy traditional snacks. Our final destination is Pattoli Bridge (Ponte Pattoli) where we will return by train or minivan. You can finish at any point during the ride as it’s flexible for all capabilities.
