Enjoy good wine, good food and a good bit of history - Sit back and enjoy the Brolio wines in the most wonderful of settings - a castle.
The first stones date back to the 11th Century. Since then the castle has been rebuilt over time with the best examples of Sienese Baroque. Revel in the history of the castle washed down with wine tastings. Then, relax some more with a delicious lunch served at the castle restaurant.
A great morning spent at a splendid castle in the heart of Chianti. It has been rebuilt and modified several times and today it bears the marks of the different eras: medieval to Romanesque to neo-Gothic and unique 19th Century Tuscan details. With 240 hectares of vineyards it makes it the largest in Chianti.
The tour includes the park, the magnificent Italian garden, the chapel with the family tomb and the tower where the Ricasoli Collection is housed in four rooms. After the Castle, the tour continues in the spacious wineries, where the famed Barone Ricasoli wines are produced for your wine tasting. Lunch is then followed in the castle restaurant.
