This is a wonderful opportunity to see the handicrafts and ceramics being made in the lovely town of Deruta. From clay to kiln and from glaze to table - an amazing process still in action today. - And, of course, your chance to buy some of the delightful pieces for yourself in their ceramics shop.

In the morning you will visit a workshop to be shown the famous ceramics of the town of Deruta. Run by father and son you will be shown the old style manufacture of the ceramics from start to finish. You will also be shown the design room, where around 15 women hand design each piece. You will even get the chance to buy some pieces from their wonderful showroom at the end of the tour.

Lunch will be in lovely wine cellar at Torgiano. Lunch will be based around typical products of the local area with the well-known Vino Sagrantino.

Included in the price is the ceramics tour and lunch.
