Olive Mill Tour

If you want to really get into the culture of the region, why not join us in November and enjoy a full day out at the olive mill?

PICKING

Set your alarm clock for an early start – to get down on the farm for 8.30am.

The staff light a fire and hand out the “outui” (baskets) and your work clothes.

As an official picker you’ll be picking the olives from the branches and grounds with your own bare hands.

LUNCHING

After a good morning’s work it's time to relax with some chilling out time.

You will enjoy a wonderful, well earned, lunch among the Olive trees.

A table filled with delicious typical Umbrian products.

TASTING

In the afternoon you will leave for the olive mill to watch the oil making process; from crushing to making paste, to bottling the final bottled product - a delicious velvety olive oil.

At the end of this amazing experience you then get to opportunity to taste the freshly made oil with bruschetta before travelling home.
