DECEMBER 2011:
UMBRIA JAZZ WINTER #19 takes the stage once more in Orvieto, as it has every year since 1993. From December 28th 2011 to January 1st 2012. 5 days of top quality music performed in a truly unique setting – a wonderful old town centre of one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities - Orvieto.

For 5 days there is music throughout the day and into the early morning. The streets of Orvieto’s old town centre become alive with crowds of festive and enthusiastic music fans. It is the combination of culture and tourism that characterises Umbria Jazz and makes it unique.

On stage this year: Michel Camilo, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chano Dominguez, Stan Tracy, The Harlem Jubilee Singers, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Gianluca Petrella, Danilo Rea, Franco Cerri, Renato Sellani, Peppe Servillo, la Lydian Sound Orchestra, Bobby Broom, Allan Harris, Funk Off, and many more.


JULY 2012:
UMBRIA JAZZ FESTIVAL 12 - July 6th to July 15th 2012 - Perugia.
For ten days there will be non-stop music - morning to night, in the most beautiful setting of Perugia in Umbria. It is a festival for attentive, motivated listeners, but there is also plenty on offer for everyone else with jazz, soul, R & B, blues, gospel, pop and salsa. The venues in the old town centre all contribute to create “jazz Italian-style”. The event attracts over 200,000 people for both paid events and an open-air concert venue where Jazz is free for all who want to listen.
